Dennis Quaid & Jean Reno Action Pic ‘The Florist’ Wraps Filming; Pre-Sells To Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, More Ahead Of Cannes Market

EXCLUSIVE: Film Bridge International has wrapped filming in New Jersey and New York on action-thriller The Florist, starring Dennis Quaid (The Substance), Jean Reno (Léon: The Professional), and Sky Katz (Raven’s Home).
Babak Najafi (London Has Fallen) directs from a script written by Eran Creevy (Welcome To The Punch) and Scott Windhauser (Mafia Wars). The film also features Anna Schafer (The Trials of Cate McCall) and Leonidas Gulaptis (A Nice Girl Like You).
Pic follows Carl Rikker (Dennis Quaid), an introverted, quiet horticulturist who loves his day job. However, he holds a dark secret – at night, he moonlights as a ruthless assassin. His identity is threatened when he forms an unlikely friendship with a teenage girl.
Film Bridge has secured international distribution partners including Square One (Germany), Mediaset (Italy and Spain), Monolith Films (Poland), Rialto Films (Australia/NZ), Cinesky (Airlines/Ships), Falcon Films (Middle East), Spenztos (Greece), and PT Prima (Indonesia).
The sales and production outfit is currently in discussions with U.S. distributors for an early 2026 release, and footage will be unveiled at next week’s Marché du Film in Cannes.
Producers are Ellen Wander and Jordan Dykstra of Film Bridge International, Jina Panebianco of CaliWood Pictures, and Gabriel Georgiev of Midwest. Ceasar Richbow and Latavius Powell also serve as producers. Executive producers include Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, and Grady Craig of Bondit Media Capital, Volcanic Media’s Justin Hawkins and Ben Demaree, and Denisa Juhos.. Executive producers for Caliwood Pictures are John D. Strahley and R. Wesley Sierk. Executive producers for Three Point Capital are David Gendron, Ali Jazayeri, and Stefan Klink.
